Founder & Instructor

Before joining the RAF, I enjoyed playing rugby for my local club in Alnwick. Once serving in the RAF, my rugby took a back seat initially, due to deploying on operations. After being posted down south, I was able to focus on rugby more and I was selected for the RAF Senior XV. It was then that I started playing semi-professional rugby at Chinnor RFC. I continued progressing in my rugby and represented the UK Armed Forces. This is the combined team for all three services.

It was in the RAF where I was afforded the opportunity to play Championship Rugby professionally for Rotherham Titans as part of the Elite Athlete Scheme, this meant I could train full-time while maintaining a career in the Armed Forces.

Throughout my military and rugby career, I have gained a great insight into health and fitness. Having achieved my England Rugby coaching qualification, I began coaching at schools within the local community by introducing kids to rugby and most importantly, helping to build their confidence which has been very rewarding.

As part of Powerhouse, I am able to use my experiences to support and motivate others with their fitness journey.
